Kelly Clarkson kicked off festivities for the nation’s biggest event today, Super Bowl 46. I thought she did an excellent job. There were no flubs or memory losses, like some celebs have experienced. I’m glad about that, too. I’d hate to see someone as nice as Clarkson make a mistake like that on a national stage.
I liked Kelly Clarkson’s rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner because it wasn’t too tricked up. She had a chorus of young kids accompanying her, which was a cool touch.
While I and most of America enjoyed Kelly Clarkson’s national anthem (which lastest 1:34 according to Midwest Sports Fans calculations), the players looked like they just wanted her to finish so they could hit somebody. There was lots of fidgeting.
Below is a sampling of reactions to Clarkson’s performance on Twitter. From celebrities like Pink and Daughtry to the public, everyone seemed pleased with her singing and thought she rocked the stage.
